At Avartek, we work hard to offer competitive pricing across our extensive range of products for businesses and homes throughout the UK.

If you find an identical product available for less from another UK retailer or supplier, contact us before placing your order. Subject to verification and the terms below, we’ll aim to match or beat the comparable price.

Our Price Promise is a pre-purchase service. Any price match must be requested, reviewed and agreed by Avartek before an order is placed.

How Our Price Promise Works

If you’ve found the same product cheaper elsewhere, send us details of the competitor’s offer before completing your purchase.

We’ll review the product, quantity, price, availability and delivery terms. Where the offer qualifies, we may provide you with a revised quotation, discount or other purchasing instructions.

Please wait for confirmation from our team before placing your order if you wish to purchase using an agreed Price Promise price.

For larger quantities or regular requirements, contact us as we may also be able to provide additional trade or volume pricing.

What We Need From You

To consider a Price Promise request, please provide:

  • A direct link to the competitor’s product or a current written quotation
  • The product and quantity required
  • The competitor’s current selling price
  • Any applicable delivery charges
  • Your name, company name where applicable, and contact details
  • For trade or bulk pricing, we may request a current quotation or invoice as evidence of the comparable price

All Price Promise requests are subject to verification by Avartek.

Price Promise Terms & Conditions

Requests Must Be Made Before Ordering

Price Promise requests must be submitted to and approved by Avartek before an order is placed.

Once an order has been placed, the price shown and accepted at checkout, or otherwise agreed when the order was submitted, is the price applicable to that order.

Avartek does not provide retrospective price matching, partial refunds, credits or reimbursements of the difference where a lower price is identified after an order has been placed.

This applies even where:

  • You subsequently find the same or a similar product cheaper elsewhere
  • A competitor reduces its price after you place your order
  • Avartek subsequently reduces the price of the product
  • Avartek introduces a sale, promotion or discount code after your purchase
  • A different supplier subsequently provides you with a lower quotation
  • A lower price becomes available for a different quantity or purchasing arrangement
  • You become eligible for a trade, bulk or promotional price after placing the order

If price is an important factor in your purchase, please submit your Price Promise request and wait for our confirmation before placing your order.

Comparable Products

For a Price Promise request to be considered, the competitor’s product must be identical or, at Avartek’s discretion, materially equivalent.

We may compare factors including:

  • Brand and manufacturer
  • Model or product code
  • Size and dimensions
  • Material and specification
  • Pack or roll quantity
  • Product quality and grade
  • Colour or variation
  • Condition
  • Warranty where applicable
  • Minimum order quantity
  • Delivery terms

Products that differ materially in specification, quantity, quality or supply terms will not be considered directly comparable.

Competitor Requirements

The competitor must be a genuine UK-based retailer, distributor or supplier and the relevant product must be available to purchase at the stated price when we verify the request.

The competitor must have sufficient stock available to supply the quantity you require.

We may decline comparisons involving:

  • Marketplace or third-party sellers
  • Auction websites
  • Private sellers
  • Clearance, liquidation or closing-down sales
  • Used, refurbished, returned or ex-display products
  • Pricing or listing errors
  • Membership-only or subscription pricing
  • Employee or other restricted discounts
  • Voucher or promotional codes
  • Cashback offers
  • Personalised or individually negotiated offers that cannot be independently verified
  • Products that are unavailable or out of stock
  • Overseas sellers or prices requiring international importation
  • Offers where the competitor cannot supply the requested quantity

Comparing the Total Price

Price comparisons are made on a like-for-like basis.

Avartek may compare the total cost of purchasing the goods rather than the advertised unit price alone.

This may include:

  • Product price
  • VAT
  • Delivery charges
  • Minimum order quantities
  • Compulsory fees or surcharges
  • Pack quantities
  • Quantity breaks
  • Other unavoidable costs associated with completing the purchase

For example, a competitor advertising a lower unit price but charging a higher delivery fee may not represent a lower comparable total price.

Bulk & Trade Pricing

Bulk, pallet and trade prices will only be compared against an equivalent quantity and purchasing arrangement.

A competitor must be able to supply the same or comparable quantity at the price submitted for verification.

Prices based on substantially larger quantities, contractual purchasing commitments, special account terms or other conditions may not qualify for comparison against a standard Avartek order.

Prices Can Change

Our prices may change from time to time due to supplier costs, exchange rates, stock levels, promotions, purchasing volumes and market conditions.

A reduction in an Avartek or competitor price after an order has been placed does not create an entitlement to a refund or credit for the difference.

Similarly, where Avartek accepts an order and the product subsequently increases in price, we will not normally increase the agreed price for that accepted order.

Approval of a Price Promise

Submitting a Price Promise request does not automatically entitle a customer to a price match.

All requests are subject to verification and approval by Avartek.

Where a request qualifies, the price offered by Avartek may be valid for a limited period and may be subject to stock availability and the specific quantity quoted.

A Price Promise approval applies only to the product, quantity and transaction for which it was provided and cannot be transferred to another order unless expressly agreed.

Avartek reserves the right to decline a Price Promise request where the offer cannot be verified, the comparison is not like-for-like, the requested quantity is unavailable, or the request does not otherwise meet these terms.

Orders Already Placed

If you have already placed your order and subsequently find the product cheaper elsewhere, the Price Promise cannot be applied retrospectively to that order.

We will therefore not normally refund the difference, provide account credit or retrospectively apply a competitor’s price.

This does not affect any separate statutory rights you may have as a consumer, including applicable cancellation rights or rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.
